₹14 Lakh Fraud: Victim Duped in Fake Land and Job Scam

Prayagraj: A resident of Khuldabad was allegedly defrauded of ₹14 lakh in a scheme promising land and employment. Based on the victim’s complaint, a case has been registered against four individuals at the Karnalganj Police Station.

Mohammad Imran Khan, a resident of Karbala Khuldabad, submitted a complaint to the police stating that he had business dealings with Dhirendra Kumar Pal, who claimed to be involved in buying and selling land. Dhirendra convinced him that investing in land would yield profits and took ₹5 lakh from Imran.

When Imran later requested the return of his money, Dhirendra cited disputes over the land. He then promised to secure Imran a job in place of the land, introducing him to Ravindra Nath Ojha and claiming he could arrange a position as a Review Officer in the High Court. For this, Imran was asked to pay ₹9 lakh, which he did.

Despite paying a total of ₹14 lakh, Imran received neither the land nor the promised job. When he demanded his money back, he was threatened with physical harm and false legal cases.

Based on his complaint, police have registered a case against Dhirendra Pal, Anuj Pal, Sushmita, Anuj Pal, and Ravindra Nath Ojha.
