Gorakhpur: A 100-acre Employment Zone will be developed in the name of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel in every district of the state.
Here, the youth will be given training and, based on their interests, employment opportunities will be provided to them.
The Chief Minister said that employment is a priority for Uttar Pradesh. Recently, more than 60,000 police constables have been recruited, and soon the recruitment of inspectors will also be completed. Another round of new recruitments is also in the pipeline.
In the Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA), an investment of ₹2,251 crore has been made for various development projects. After inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for these projects, the Chief Minister said that in the last few years, more than 60,000 police personnel have been recruited.
Recruitment for inspector-level posts has also been initiated, and soon, recruitment for new positions will be advertised as well.
In addition, the recruitment of 2,538 principals has been completed. Apart from this, lakhs of government job opportunities have been created. Today, Gorakhpur is steadily becoming an industrial hub.
The Chief Minister said that Gorakhpur is witnessing rapid industrial development, and this has created new avenues of employment for the youth.
The government is working to ensure that no young person in Uttar Pradesh is left unemployed. Employment opportunities are being created at every level.
He added that in GIDA, industrial plots have been allotted to many companies, including a bottling plant and a fertilizer unit. Along with this, companies from other states are also coming forward to set up their businesses here.
The Chief Minister informed that in GIDA, a paint plant with an investment of ₹700 crore is ready to be established.
