All States and union territories directed to update union home ministry every two hourly about crime situation, law and order

In what is being termed as a big step for the first time in the past two and a half decades of the country’s history, every state and union territory in India has been directed to update the union government about the situation of crime, law, and order in their area every two hours.

This unprecedented step is reported to have been taken by union home minister Amit Shah in view of the rape and murder of a female junior doctor at the RG Kar Medical hospital in Calcutta. This was followed by a mob attack at the hospital. Outraged, the doctors all over the country started protesting.
Sources said, there has also been a spurt in crime rate all over the country.
However, if the sources are correct there was another reason behind this big decision and this was because of an attack on minorities by Islamist organizations in neighbouring Bangladesh which is predominantly a radical Islamist country.
The Union home minister himself said that hindu papulation has dwindled considerably in this country after 1971.
Most of the Hindus have fled the country out of fear and intimidation. Stray cases of attempts to convert them with force have also come to light. Several of them were killed in recent violence that gripped that country.
Several temples have been desecrated. The actual number of Hindus killed was difficult to ascertain immediately although the real scene would not remain hidden for long.
The union ministry is understood to have taken this step in order to ensure that minorities unlike Bangladesh remain safe in this country and nobody tries to break law and order.
The message to all is loud and clear. Live by the law.
Those who tried to break the law would be dealt with immediate harsh legal action.
