BALRAMPUR: Sending out a strong warning to miscreants after the recent disturbances in Bareilly, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said:
“If anyone tries to create chaos during festivals and celebrations, the action taken against them will be so harsh that even seven generations of theirs will remember it.”
Speaking at a public rally in Balrampur after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for 124 development projects worth ₹825 crore, the Chief Minister declared that the government will not rest until anti-social elements are brought to their knees.
Earlier in the morning, Yogi Adityanath performed rituals at the Shaktipeeth temple, offering prayers to Maa Pateshwari.
Later, while addressing the gathering in Ghughulpur, he said that the “double-engine government” is working tirelessly to expand the reach of development schemes.
He added, however, that some people are displeased with this progress and are deliberately attempting to create obstructions.
“The people who consider anarchy their birthright, I am telling them directly from the land of Balrampur — if you try to obstruct development projects, remember that this very development will become the cause of your destruction,” the Chief Minister declared.
“Strict action will be remembered for a lifetime if unrest is created”: Yogi Adityanath
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that symbols of faith are not meant to be loved sentimentally but to be respected.
He stressed that faith is not a spectacle for street demonstrations, but an inner matter of conscience.
According to him, those who attempt to provoke children into such acts are the weakest of all.
“Children, whose hands should hold pens, notebooks, and books of science and mathematics, are being given placards of ‘I Love Mohammad’ to spread anarchy by some elements,” he remarked.
He further warned, “If anyone disturbs peace during festivals, it will be like cutting them a ticket straight to hell without asking.”
