Atleast two lawyers involved in district court violence in Allahabad named in another FIR a day after under section 307 ie attempted murder.

While the unprecedented incident of assault on a
couple by a group of lawyers inside a court has left people wondering about law and order situation inside the pillar of justice, a day after this, Kareily police lodged criminal cases against atleast two lawyers also involved in the open court incident on April 29.

One Ali Ahmad resident of Buxi Modha lodged a case under section 307 ie attempted murder, 147,148,149, 386 and section 506 against Ranvijay Singh advocate, Mohd Asif advocate, advocate Shahid, Bhuttu alias Amir and two unidentified persons.

In the FIR no 76, 2024 the complainant Ali Ahmad has alleged that the above named four persons involved in illegal land transaction had been coercing and threatening him to part with his ancestral land situated in Buxi Modha locality under Kareily police station.

The complainant alleged, he was surrounded by six persons near Veerampur Madarsa beaten and dragged inside a car where he was forced to put his thumb impression on a paper. These persons told the victim to part with Rs 15 lakh in case he was not willing to give away his land.

As a result Ali Ahmad gave away Rs 8000 to one Bhuttu named in the complaint.
Not satisfied with this sum of money the accused again beat up the complainant who somehow managed to wriggle out from the clutches of these persons and made an attempt to escape.

While he was running for cover Ranvijay Singh fired at him from a pistol. However, he had a narrow escape.
Ali Ahmad has alleged he could not go to the police because of fear of similar such attack.

Station Officer Kareily police station while confirming the incident said, investigation is going on and action would be taken accordingly.
