Bakery Of Samajwadi Party Leader Involved In Rape Demolished In Ayodhya

The bakery of a Samajwadi Party leader Moeed Khan involved in the rape of a girl has been demolished with the help of a bulldozer in Ayodhya.

Action in this case was stepped up after the parents of the girl met the Chief Minister. The bakery had been illegally on government land and had been earlier given to a member of Schedule Caste. Police station in-charge Ratan Sharma and another sub-inspector Akhilesh Gupta have been suspended in this case.

Local MLA Amit Chauhan has handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to the family of the victim girl.

The accused and his friend Raju had been raping the eviction for the past two and a half months. The other accused has also been arrested.

Both the accused had been terrorizing the girl into submission. They had allegedly made videos of the girl and were blackmailing her after she became pregnant. The issue came to light after this.

A case against two other Samajwadi party leaders.

Chairman Nagar Panchayat Bhadarsa, Mohd Rashid, and Jai Singh Rana have been lodged for putting pressure on the girl and the family to withdraw the case.

 An inquiry in this case carried out by the SDM revealed that Avon  Bakery was being run illegally on government land
