A fight broke out during the shooting of the film “Pati, Patni Aur wo Part 2” reportedly under the banner of BR Chopra Films on Thursday evening near Mayohall Crossing in Prayagraj, causing chaos.
According to reports, the shooting was in progress on Thornhil Road around 4 PM. A large crowd had gathered to watch the event The situation spiraled out of control when lead actor Ayushman Khurana alias Sagar Khan and others got into a scuffle with some locals.
The incident was captured on mobile phones and quickly spread on social media. The Civil Lines police on the complaint of Producer Saurabh Tewari arrested one Meraz Ali. Police booked another person for disturbing peace.
The shooting of this film is being carried out at different places in the city since August 15 Actor Ayushman Khurana and Sara Ali Khan are in the lead rold of this yet to be released movie.
The commotion began when some persons got into a scuffle with Zoheb Solapurwala production head.
The film crew was trying to keep onlookers at bay when it all started. The situation became so ugly that the film unit was forced to stop the shooting.
The accused Meraz Ali, meanwhile who had a video of the scuffle made it viral on Instagram Meraz Ali used abusive language and started threateningwhen the film unit requested him to delete the video.
Police Action:
After reviewing the viral video and eyewitness accounts, police arrested Meraz Ali one of the accused, and sent him to jail. Another individual was booked under the peace-breach provisions. The search is on for three other suspects involved in the fight.
The local police have warned against spreading such content on social media, stating that strict action will be taken. SHO Ashwini Kumar confirmed that a case has been registered under charges related to disturbing peace and creating a public nuisance.

The film’s shoot began on August 15 in Prayagraj. On August 27, the cast, including Ayushman Khurana alias Sagar Khan, was filming at Mayo Hall when arguments broke out between locals and the film crew over road traffic management and crowd control.
Tensions escalated into a physical altercation, and videos of the fight went viral, prompting public outrage. Following this, ASP (Additional Superintendent of Police) directed an immediate crackdown, resulting in arrests and heightened police deployment in the area.
Authorities stressed the need for film crews to coordinate better with the administration for crowd control and security arrangements during outdoor shoots.
