UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath has set Dec 10 as the deadline for completing all Kumbh-related work. The CM in the city on Sunday said officials not complying with the date will have to face action.
I will come and review the work and progress every ten to fifteen days.
The CM also launched the Kumbh logo, website, and an App developed for providing land and other facilities to the pilgrims and others.
The CM landed at the parade ground helipad at 10.15 am and spent around six hours in the meal area.
During this time he took a motorboat ride to see areas affected by recent floods. He visited the Sangam, offered prayer at the Hanuman Temple, and visited the mythological Akshyavat tree.
He held talks with the seers and discussed the approaching Maha Kumbh, the famous grand religious event.
During a meeting with senior officers, the CM expressed concern over delays in several works related to the Maha Kumbh.
He expressed much seriousness on the delay of the six-lane bridge in Phaphamau and Prayagraj Rai Bareily road.
He directed NHI officials to complete the projects timely.
The Maha Kumbh mela in charge Vijay Kiran Anand briefed the CM on the extent of progress of every work.
The CM also met media persons and reiterated his resolve to oversee a safe and successful Maha Kumbh that gained much popularity since the year 2019.
He said the 2025 Kumbh will be made more popular and tourist-friendly.
