Thousands of students protesting against UPPSC who are squatting in front of the office in Allahabad took out a candle march on Nov 13 demanding the holding of PCS and RO/ ARO examinations in one shift like in earlier years.
On Wednesday it was the third day of their protest. Youth including girls have gathered from all over the state as well as other states in protest against the UPPSC’s decision to hold this prestigious examination spread over two days.
This way there will be no transparency and our future will be marred say protesting boys and girls.
For the past three days, they have been spending the nights in front of gate no 2 of UPPSC on Stanley Road.
On its part, the administration including the DM and Commissioner tried to convince students to give up their dharna and co-operate but students were in no mood to make peace.
They call the new policy of holding the competitive examination unfair.
A big police force had been guarding the area but students are determined to carry on with their peaceful protest.
We shall not move as long as our demands are not met say those assembled at the gates of UPPSC.
