A man and his three children along with eleven others were crushed after the building in which they were living collapsed in Meerut on Saturday.
Forty cows and buffaloes in the basement of this building that housed a dairy were also crushed in this building’s collapse.
Sajid 40, his wife Sayma 35, daughter Sanya 15, son Sakib 12, and Rita 7 were still alive when their bodies were extricated out of the rubble. They were all rushed to the hospital but Sajid and his three children could bit be saved.
Efforts were being made to pull out the remaining persons from the rubble in the Zakir Colony of the city.
