Faith And Belief Of Kanwarias should be maintained. Political Parties Kick Up A Storm Over Orders Requiring Eateries To Display Owners Name, Phone Numbers

UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath’s directives making it mandatory for eateries on the Kanwar route to display the name of the dhaba, its owner, and its employees are now creating a political storm.
Although, there’s nothing new in this order as it was applied earlier also the hue and cry being raised this time was hardly seen earlier.
It may be mentioned that there were many Muslim eateries displaying Hindu names all along the Kanwar Yatra route in Uttar Pradesh. According to the CM, this amounts to playing with the faith and religious beliefs of the Hindus.
The question is why should a Muslim sell eatables in the garb of a Hindu? The majority of Hindus avoid eating at a Muslim eatery although this was not a rule.
The majority of non-vegetarian Hindus avoid eating such foods on Tuesdays and are very particular during religious festivals like Shiv Ratri, Nav Ratri, and many other such occasions throughout the year.
However, despite such noteworthy facts several political parties have kicked up a storm and are demanding that such an order be reversed.
According to them such things create a rift in society and divide people on religious grounds.
Lok Jan Shakti party leader Chirag Paswan, the government should work for all sections of people including Dalits, Muslims backward, upper caste, and others.
RLD, national secretary Anupam Misra says, the government should rethink a decision that impacts a large section of people. Our country has people from different communities and as such harmony must be maintained.
Sources say, that in the past law and order situation had been disrupted due to people selling food items by concealing facts. It has nothing to do with discrimination of any kind.
A political row was unnecessarily being triggered, it is being said.
