Jamia Habibia Islamia Madarsa in Attarsuiya sealed by PDA in police presence

Police have sealed Jamia Habibiya Islamia Madarsa in Attarsuiya after raiding an Indian counterfeit currency printing racket here.

A few days ago police on getting clues police had raided this Islamic institution and found a printer that was being used in printing counterfeit currency notes of RS 100 denomination. Four persons had been arrested in this case.
All students living in this Madarsa were asked to leave immediately as a PDA team locked the Madarsa in the presence of a police force.
The printing of fake currency had been going on for the past several months.
Among the arrested included the Principal of this Madarsa who hailed from Orissa.
Besides the printer police also seized paper rolls used in this racket along with 1.5 lakh printed notes.
Earlier, around 100 students were living and availing Islamic education here but most of them had left for hometowns either out of fear or to appear in other examinations, said sources.
