By elections to the ten assembly seats is now do or die like issue for the BJP in the state of Uttar Pradesh
In view of the recent poor showing in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls and another by election that saw BJP getting only three seats out of 13, polls now on 10 assembly seats have become a prestigious issue for the party.
UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath has handed over the poll-winning responsibility to 30 ministers of his cabinet and has directed them to spend at least two days a week in constituencies where polls are to be held and stay there till the end of elections.
The CMÂ also impressed upon the ministers to establish a dialogue with the workers and see that all their problems and complaints were resolved.
The CM asked the ministers to inform him directly in case they faced any problems in dealing with any issue.
The CM urged the ministers to focus on booth management and asked for feedback on the reputation the party holds in the eyes of the public at large.
The BJP, has a strong focus on the Milkipur assembly constituency in the Ayodhya region, as a result, four ministers, Surya Pratap Shahi, Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh, Girish Yadav, and Satish Sharna have been put in charge of this assembly section in order to ensure that the party saves its face.
The party feels that good performance in the by-polls now would serve as a healing balm for the BJP which somehow managed to form the central government for the third consecutive term.
