In a continued push toward employment generation and strengthening public service delivery, #PrimeMinisterNarendraModi on Saturday distributed more than 51,000 appointment letters to newly recruited individuals across a wide range of Central government departments and organisations.
This nationwide recruitment drive was carried out simultaneously at 47 locations across the country, reflecting the government’s commitment to delivering opportunities on a broad scale.
Key Departments See Infusion of Young Talent
According to an official government release, the recruits have been selected from various corners of India and will join prominent departments such as the #MinistryOfRailways, #MinistryOfHomeAffairs, #DepartmentOfPosts, #MinistryOfHealthAndFamilyWelfare, #DepartmentOfFinancialServices, and the #MinistryOfLabourAndEmployment, among several others.
These departments play a critical role in implementing national policies and driving essential services to the grassroots, ensuring effective governance and development.
A Vision for Youth-Led Nation Building
Addressing the gathering virtually, PM Modi celebrated the appointment of thousands of young individuals, stating,
“Our campaign to issue appointment letters to the country’s youth in the #CentralGovernment is going strong. Today alone, over 51,000 young Indians have received their appointment letters.
Through initiatives like the Rozgar Mela, lakhs of youth have already secured permanent government jobs, directly contributing to the growth of our nation.”
The Prime Minister elaborated on the vital roles the new appointees would play.
“Some of you will be part of Indian Railways, while others will contribute to national security. Those joining the Postal Department will help carry government initiatives to the most remote villages. Others will work in the ‘Health for All’ campaign, drive financial inclusion, or support industrial development. Though your departments vary, your focus is united — serving the nation and putting ‘Citizen First’,” he said.
He extended warm wishes and congratulations to all the appointees as they embarked on a new and meaningful professional journey.
India’s Dual Strength: Demography and Democracy
Highlighting India’s most powerful asset, #YouthDemographic, PM Modi underlined the nation’s dual strengths of population and political system.
India has both he largest youth population and the largest democracy in the world. This unique combination is our greatest asset. Our government is working relentlessly to turn this youth power into a driving force for national progress,” he noted.
Employment & Global Recognition of India’s Youth
Drawing a link between domestic employment efforts and international diplomacy, PM Modi referenced his recent visit to five nations.
“Just two days ago, I returned from a five-nation tour, and everywhere I went, India’s youth energy and talent were acknowledged. The agreements and collaborations we secured during this tour will have direct and long-term benefits for #IndianYouth,” he assured.
