Now, according to a reliable report Ramayana is going to top the list in terms of the budget of a movie.
Ramayana is being made with a whooping budget and it’s going to become the most expensive film, Record-Breaking Budget and Star-Studded Cast may help Ramayana to become the biggest hit of the country.
Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana aims to bring the ancient tale of Ramayana to life on an unprecedented scale for the new generation and generation next as they haven’t seen the old Ramayana telecasted on Door Darshan. In this ambitious project, one of the top most stars and acclaimed actors Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi is portraying Goddess Sita, adding star power and significant talent to the film.
Ranbir Kapoor, renowned for his intense acting skills in many of his Films including the blockbuster ‘Brahmastra’, which boasted a budget of Rs. 450 crores, is now determined to not only surpass his own record but also set unprecedented benchmarks for Bollywood cinema with ‘Ramayana’.Director Nitesh Tiwari has already become Ranbir and is singing praises for the actor as Ranbir Kapoor has taken a big risk by accepting to portray Lord Ram as usually stars avoid to go out from the barriers of their star image.
With a great budget exceeding Rs. 900 crore, Ramayana has set a new benchmark in Indian cinema, becoming the most expensive film ever produced in the country. This massive investment reflects the filmmakers’ ambition to create a visually stunning and epic retelling of the ancient epic.
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, with Sai Pallavi portraying Sita Maa. The casting of KGF Chapter 2 actor Yash as Raavan has generated considerable excitement, promising a powerful and memorable performance. Adding to the stellar lineup, Lara Dutta will play Kaikeyi, while Sunny  Deol takes on the role of Lord Hanuman. Vijay Sethupathi, Arun Govil, and Bobby Deol are also part of this ambitious project, each bringing their unique flair to the characters they portray.
According to a recent report by the media, director Nitesh Tiwari has completed filming the first part of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer. A source close to the production revealed that the initial phase of shooting is complete, with only some minor patchwork and extensive VFX work remaining. The team has already begun dismantling the 12 massive sets constructed for the film, indicating that production is moving forward smoothly.
