All eateries, dhabas, and restaurants in the state have been directed to display the name of the owner, and manager with full details and address. The move comes in the wake of several incidents in which were found carrying human body parts much to the shock and anger of customers. CM Yogi Aditya Nath has warned such persons that strict action will be taken against them in the coming days if directives are not complied with.
The CM instructed the food department to carry out surprise raids on eateries and see what they were serving.
Eateries will also have to install CCTV cameras covering each angle of the restaurant and the owners will have to stock all recordings.
Cooks and others involved in the preparation of food and other eatables are supposed to wear masks and those serving will have to wear gloves to maintain hygiene.
The food and adulteration department has also been directed to check all restaurants and hotels and see what was going on.
The CM said there have been several cases recently all over the country in which human parts and other dirty things were found to be served to the customers.
The health of the citizens was very important and people playing with the lives and health of citizens will not be spared.
