The much touted paper leak scandal is now out in the open.
STF UP has served a notice on DIOS Allahabad Pratap Narain Singh and has summoned him to Lucknow where he is likely to be questioned in RO and ARO paper leak scandal. This examination is conducted by the state public service commission.
Besides facing a volley of questions the DIOS will have to explain as to n what basis Bishop Johnson’s girls wing school was made as centre of this examination.
Earlier, STF had summoned the principal Bishop Johnson’s Girls wing school but her statement for unknown reasons has not been recorded till now.
According to CO STF Lal Pratap Singh, STFs investigating officer has sought the cooperation of public service commission in investigating this sensitive issue that deals with the future of so many students. On its part the commission informed that the responsibility of conducting the examination had been given to the DIOS Allahabad. It was the duty of the DIOS to see which category of school was being given the responsibility of holding the examination in its premises.
Doubts were raised when instead of the principal who acts as controller of examination somebody else had replaced him/her.
As such both the Principal and the DIOS have become suspects in the line of investigation.
