Sanjay Dutt is One of the most popular and recognized superstars of the Indian Film Industry, in a career spanning over four decades, Sanjay Dutt has won several accolades and acted in over 135 films. Part of the Dutt family, he is the son of actor-politicians Sunil Dutt and Nargis, the legends.
In an interview of Sanjay Dutt, he shared that he didn’t immediately mourn his mother’s passing. It wasn’t until two years later, when he listened to a recording of her voice, that he was deeply moved. Hearing her words of love and guidance stirred emotions that had been suppressed, leading to a profound and life-changing moment for Superstar Sanjay Dutt.
Sanjay Dutt said, “When my mother died, I didn’t cry, I had no emotions, I had nothing. And it was after 2 years when I was sitting with the group and a guy suddenly started playing the tape.”
Sanjay Dutt further said, The tape plays, mom was giving advice to me, saying, ‘Keep your humanity, keep your character. Never show off. Always be humble. And always respect the elders. That is the key that will take you far and that is the thing that will give you strength in your work.’
The moment was unbearable for me, I started crying, I wept and cried like never before. tears were unstoppable, I cried for four hours, I missed my mother badly, I lost the most precious person of my life, two years ago and then I was out of my mind, I felt guilty when she was alive I was busy with my friends but now I was desperate, you can’t get back the person who passed away.”
