Salman Khan. Shilpa is the sister of Namrata Shirodkar and they are both granddaughters of famous Marathi actress Meenakshi Shirodkar.
Shilpa Shirodkar has started well in the show and almost all the contestants know that she would prove to be a tough contestant to fight with, although she is a senior woman she is a threat to the rest of the contestants. The actress, who was a rage in the early 1990s, is using Bigg Boss as a platform to make her comeback into Bollywood. Although Namrata Shirodkar and Mahesh Babu have not publicly reacted to her participation, Shilpa revealed in an interview before entering Bigg Boss 18 that Namrata and Mahesh are excited for her.
“(Namrata and Mahesh) are very happy for me. They are very proud of me and they just know that whatever I do, I’ll do it myself. I know I’m going to make them very proud. As a family, we are a very close-knit family. They are very supportive of me,” Shilpa Shirodkar told media people.
Shilpa Shirodkar was active in Bollywood from 1989 to 2000. Some of her notable films include the Anil Kapoor-starrer Kishen Kanhaiya, Hum (which also starred Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth), Trinetra, Aankhen, Khuda Gawah, Gopi Kishan, ‘Bewafa Sanam and many more.
