War Of Words Against UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath To End: Majority Public In UP Likes Yogi, Admit Party Sources.

The war of words and efforts to let down UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath has come to an end with the intervention of the top BJP leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The two Dy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak had been using every possible opportunity to attack the CM.
This war of words became more apparent following the poor performance of the BJP in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls.
According to well-informed party sources, both the ambitious Dy CMs saw an opportunity to swing the tide in their favour with statements and lobbying against Yogi Aditya Nath.
In fact both the Dy CMs were trying to prove that Yogi Aditya Nath was responsible for the defeat and that they were more capable to lead the party in Uttar Pradesh as Chief Minister.
It’s a well-known fact that Dy CM Keshav Maurya had adopted every possible trick to become the CM when the party came to power but the BJP knew his leadership capabilities.
The only thing that went into Maurya’s favour was his OBC background and his ability to cull favours from members of his community, including others during elections. The caste factor in UP politics holds a lot of weight.
Maurya was asked to settle down as Dy CM.
But with the passage of time it became evident that people in Mauray’s Chail assembly constituency had just given him a chance to judge him.
But Maurya failed miserably to come up to the expectations of the people.
He lost the assembly elections. But the party still let him continue as Dy CM.
Of late Maurya started a near-open rebellion against the CM who is a no-nonsense man.
Party circles and the majority of the public in the state admit that Maurya has no stature before Yogiji who besides being a politician is the head priest of Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur. He was baptised into the priesthood by Mahant Avaidnath of the ‘Nath Sampradaya’ .
The party had convened a meeting of all BJP CMs. Both the Dy CMs reached there before Aditya Nath and talked to Amit Shah.
After this discussions were held on UP in the presence of National BJ P President JP Nadda and BJP General Secretary BL Santosh.
Both the Dy CMs were directed to work in the interest of the party keeping in view the next assembly elections.
On the other hand, Yogi Aditya Nath could not meet any big leader but he had an hour-long meeting with the BJP General Secretary BL Santosh.
The General Secretary then talked to the party’s high command which directed every leader to refrain from giving statements against its leaders.
