Lucknow: On Tuesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a swipe at Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for her symbolic support of Palestine and emphasized how Israel had become a higher priority for both his government and the Centre, with tangible benefits for the youth of Uttar Pradesh.
“A Congress leader flaunts a bag with ‘Palestine’ written on it, while our government has already sent over 5,500 youths from Uttar Pradesh to Israel, where they are working on infrastructure projects and earning good wages,” the Chief Minister remarked, speaking in the House on the second day of the UP Assembly’s winter session.
He went on to say that the youths from Uttar Pradesh were living in a secure environment and earning more than 1.5 lakh rupees per month. “The money they send back is boosting the state’s economy, and interestingly, there has been an increasing demand for UP youths in Israel, as they have proven their worth through hard work,” he added
