Israel launched a big airstrike on Iran on Saturday, 26 October. More than 100 fighter jets were used in it, which targeted military targets in many areas of Iran, including the capital Tehran. Giving information about the attack, the Israeli army said on Saturday that its attack was successful, and all the aircraft returned safely after carrying out the operation. After the attack, the US said that it had information but was not involved in the strikes. However, now a piece of new information has emerged about America’s involvement in the above-mentioned airstrikes.

The plan to save Israeli pilots
Israel’s Army Radio reported on Sunday, October 27 that American fighter jets were fully prepared in case of any emergency of Israeli pilots during Operation Days of Repentance. “If the operation did not succeed, Israel and the United States had made a plan to evacuate the pilots,” the radio said.
Israel had its own plan
The report stressed that although the USA did not take part in the attack, a fleet of US Central Command was ready to intervene if necessary. It also said that the Israeli Air Force (IAF) had prepared an independent plan for pilot rescue without relying on US support.
US warns Iran
The US has openly justified the Israeli attack on Iran. US President Joe Biden said on Saturday that the Jewish state only targeted military targets. Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin warned Tehran not to respond to the attack. Biden said he hoped the attacks would be “an end.” He said the Israeli military did not appear to have targeted anything other than “military targets.”
At the same time, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant that Iran should not “make the mistake of responding to Israeli attacks.” Austin said Israeli strikes “must put an end to this skirmish.” He talked about opportunities to use diplomacy to reduce tension in the region.
