Air India plane makes safe emergency landing at Trichy Airport

The lives of 140 Air India passengers were saved at the Trichi airport today by the skillful landing of the aircraft by its pilot.

The Air India flight AXB613 had just taken off for Sharjah when the pilot discovered hydraulic failure.
As a result, he cautioned the control room and without making any panic announcement decided to encircle the Trichi airport to lessen the fuel.
As ambulances and firefighters took position near the runway, the pilot kept encircling the airport for nearly three hours.
Finally, the pilot managed to make a safe landing much to the relief of the Airport staff and the family members of the passengers.
