Bail application of fifty six GST scamsters rejected

The Allahabad High Court has rejected the bail applications of 56 accused involved in more than 4000 crore GST scam.
The bail seekers do not deserve any relief in this national level scam and hence they are not entitled to any relief said Justice Manju Rani Chauhan while disposing the application of Rajeev Jindal along with fifty five other persons.
The issue pertains to Noida sector 20.
A complainant Saurabh Dwivedi that GST firms were registered in Punjab and Magarashtra by using his false ID.
As a result an SIT was formed to carry out investigation in this case and the scam cane to light.
It was found during the course of investigation that the accused carried out fictitious registration by using false IDs of people.
After this the accused derived benefits by availing tax input credits denting the coffers of the government.
The court said it was necessary to look into the character of the case before reaching to a conclusion.
In this case the accused persons were acting against the financial interests of the country and hence invite stricter stand.
