There seems to be no end to sabotage trains in the country by unidentified persons.

Close on the heels of several such attempts aimed at playing with people’s lives
in the latest two incidents a big boulder was placed on the tracks in the freight corridor area in Karchana, Allahabad.
The driver of this goods train informed the railway authorities after the engine rammed into this boulder.
The incident took place between New Manauri and New Karchna railway stations.
The RPF rushed to the site and found evidence of a stone boulder having been placed on the tracks in a bid to derail the train.
In UP, such incidents have already been reported from Kanpur, Gazipur, and Rampur in the recent past but till now the investigating agencies have not been able to identify any person or group of people involved in this mischief.
How incidents are happening at different places points towards the possibility of people spread over in  UP being involved in this unthinkable act of inflicting harm to rail passengers and railway property.
Another such incident has been reported from far off Surat in Gujrat. In this case, miscreants unscrewed a few fish plates and placed them on the parallel track.
This incident indicates that there were strong possibilities of a countrywide network of a larger group trying to create chaos and confusion.
The miscreants had also loosened the screws of several other fishplates making it clear that they wanted to involve the passing train in a major accident.
The incident was reported between Kodava and Kim railway stations.
Thankfully, the line nan was alert and he detected the sabotaging intention before any major mishap could take place.
