Parking fees on vehicles left on roadsides to be imposed soon

The administration is planning to impose parking fees on vehicles left overnight on streets and public places. According to sources the Urban Planning department is mulling on imposing three times extra tax on those who would not obtain permits to park their vehicles on roadsides and public places.

There are thousands of vehicles left by their owners on roadsides in every city all. over the state.
 
The department by imposing parking fees on such vehicles hopes to earn a good amount of money, The Principal Secretary Amrit Abhijat has directed the Municipal Corporations and Nagar Nigams to send its objections if any. Objections are also invited on nagarvikasanubhag9@gmail.com
 
UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath had recently directed the Urban Planning department to draw a suitable parking plan and a policy.
Following this, the Urban Planning department after deliberations and meetings has come up with the idea of taxing those citizens who own cars and other vehicles but park their vehicles on roadsides.
The department hopes to earn a good amount of revenue through this process.
