The Allahabad High Court has taken a serious view against officials of Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad who were deliberately keeping the state government in the dark and not doing what was necessary on the issue of regularising the services of unregularised teachers.
As per rules, all teachers between August 7, 1993 to 2000,need to be regularised under section 33.
Meanwhile, the officials were mixing two issues. They were mixing the issue of appointments before 2000 and appointments made after this.
The high court made it clear that officials were doing all this deliberately.
The court has issued directions that a copy of the order be placed before the Chief Minister so that he can take action against all officials who are deliberately hiding facts from the government.
The court has also asked that the action taken on its directions and orders by relevant authorities be placed on its table on the next date of hearing on Sept 20.
Meanwhile, the Advocate General made his appearance in this case and urged the chair to give some time to him to carry out the orders.
The AG also assured the court that he would bring all that had happened in this case to the notice of the state government.
The court said it was deliberating taking action on the second part of this case in accordance with the judgment of the Supreme Court.
