Coaching enrolled girl allegedly flung to death from the second floor by a youth and two of his friends: Allegation sends shock waves among lakhs of students living in the city to shape their future:
Allahabad: Mystery shrouds the death of a 22-year-old girl who fell from the second-floor balcony of a coaching in the Colonelganj area.
The parents of this girl from Bhadohi have accused a youth and two of his friends of ‘assaulting and molesting and flinging her to death from the balcony.
However, police said, the girl was having a love affair and she committed suicide in frustration.
She was the daughter of a “Purohit” who hails from the Unjh area in Bhadohi. She was living in a rented room in Allahpur and preparing for competitive examinations.
Sources said, she was seen near the Climax where she was Tuesday around 3 pm.
After this, she fell and died from the second-floor balcony of this coaching. People of the area took her to a hospital but she succumbed to her death in the evening.
The girls parents came rushing here. The ACP along with Inspector Colonelganj reached the place and carried out inquiry and investigation.
The parents have accused a youth from Raibareily of continuously harassing their daughter. According to them their daughter had come to the university road near the coaching to purchase a book.
The accused youth accosted the girl along with two of his friends. They forcibly took her to the coaching and assaulted her.
After this she was allegedly dragged to the second floor and flung down.
The police have taken the youth in custody and were interrogating him.
Sources said, Climax coaching was closed for three days in view of Rakshabandhan. The security guard was on duty and some employees were also working at this coaching.
Those running the coaching reached the place after the incident. They were questioned by the police.
The girls father and several relatives have accused the police of trying to hush up the case. They said that the girl had told her mother that some boys were harassing her.
