A country where minor girls are revered with sanctity is witnessing spiraling cases of their rape said Justice Justice Shekhar Kumar Yadav while hearing the bail application of an accused Ahsan from Katghar in Moradabad district.

The Judge observed that small girls are offered prayers, they are considered symbols of goddess Durga in this country but it is distressing to note that such girls were being made objects of such a disgusting act.

The court also expressed much concern that such despicable acts against minor girls were increasing in this country.
Such a shameful and low act was not only against the victim but a heinous crime against society as a whole. This is also violative against Article 21 of the constitution which grants fundamental right to life.
People will lose faith in the judiciary if case right decision is not taken in such a case.
So, while refusing to grant bail to the accused the court also ordered the trial court to decide the sensitive case within a year.
According to the facts of the case, the minor girl had gone out of the house to witness a show when according to people she was forcibly picked up by the accused and taken to a nearby railway crossing.

Meanwhile, the searching parents managed to reach the spot and heard a cry for help. The accused ran away after seeing the girl’s family members approaching.
The girl was found unconscious and without clothes.
