Gangmen and railway track maintaining staff who ensure safety of trains were misused by DRM Sambalpur, alleges All’ India Railway men’s Federation:

Divisional Railway Manager (DRM ) Guntakal arrested by the CBI earlier this month for taking bribes in tenders had also been unauthorisedly using services of railway employees in his late night paries.

 These allegations have been levelled against this high ranking officer by All India Railwaymen’s Federation.
General Secretary AIRF Shiv Gopal Misra has alleged that the DRM misused employees like gangmen and track maintainers while the officer was posted at Sambalpur.
The railway employees who are assigned to ensure safety and security of trains while on tracks were being used for personal work.
Earlier, following complaints by AIRF, the DRM had been transferred but this punishment did not deter him.
Ultimately, he was caught by the CBI while accepting bribes.
The DRM had been arrested along with four other officers in exchange of awarding tenders.
