Hindus Protest Against Their Killings And Harassment After The Ouster Of Sheikh Hasina
Alarmed over growing incidents of violence and carnage members of the Hindu community got together to participate in a protest and block the Shahbagh intersection in Dhaka.
As per reports several thousand hindus blocked the Shahbagh intersection to protest attacks on their homes, temples, business establishments and shops. Such attacks against the Hindu minorities had been taking place ever since the former PM of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled the country in order to save her life. Hindus in Bangladesh were safe during her party’s rule.
But the real face of Bangladeshis came to the fore after the forceful ouster of Sheik Hasina.
The Hindu protesters are demanding safeguarding of their rights, life and property.
