Supreme Court Issues Notices To Central Government, Delhi Government, NCR Including UP and Haryana Overt Drowning Of Three Students In Delhi At A Coaching

The Supreme Court has remarked that coaching centers have become death chambers. Irked over the death of three students who were drowned to death at Rao’s IAS coaching center in Delhi after its basement was flooded with rainwater the Supreme Court has said that coaching centers were playing with the lives of students. Almost every coaching center in Delhi and several other states were found operating in the basement of buildings that are actually earmarked as parking lots as petr building laws, the court has issued notices to the central government, Delhi government, and NCR region.
Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have also been made party and they are now required to answer the Apex court.
What we have read is terrifying and we are full of grief over this incident.
In case needed we shall pass orders for the closure of all such coaching centers in the country that were operating illegally with impunity. Such coaching centers many opt for online coaching as long as they don’t have a proper coaching place. The court has sent notices to the housing and urban development ministry, and the chief secretary and asked them what safety and security measures have been adopted so that such incidents do not get repeated in the future. The court has also asked parties concerned as well as students to give their suggestions on short-term and long-term measures for the safety of lives of students at coaching centers.
The Supreme Court wants to ensure that no such incident or any other incident like a fire tragedy takes place and all coaching centers follow norms of safety and security of students.
