A renewed operation against criminals and mafia in the state has been launched. After returning from the swearing in ceremony CM Yogi Aditya Nath had a talk with DGP Prashant Kumar who has directed all police commissioners, SSPs and SPs in the state to launch operation against all criminals and mafia’s. The DGP has also issued directions that properties belonging to mafias in the entire state be confiscated.
The DGP assessed the law and order situation in the state through video conferencing. He directed all police personnel to ensure regular policing including investigation, crime control, prosecution, beat policing , operation conviction, operation trinetra and mission Shakti.
He said, the ‘trinetra ap’ has been launched by the STF. He issued directions that all information be uploaded on this ap. This ap can recognise faces and is equipped with voice recognition technique.
He said the new Indian judicial Act, Indian citizens security Act and Indian evidence Act has to be implemented from July 1. Arrangement for training, purchase of equipment be carried out along with its publicity.
