Dr Kartikey’s father alleges foul play in the death of his son

Dr Kartikey Srivastava who was found dead in his car on the campus of SRN hospital on Saturday had died due to suffocation. This was the outcome of the autopsy report. His father, Professor Krishna Kumar has alleged that his son was murdered.

A video recording of the autopsy was carried out and the viscera has been preserved for further analysis and examination to determine whether he was strangled to death. A few marks of minor injuries were found on his neck and hands which make the death suspicious.
His father says that his son had brought him to Allahabad from Uttarakhand for treatment. How can my son commit suicide? According to him, there was foul play in the death of his son and the police should find out who was responsible for the same.
Dr Kartikey was in the second year of his master of surgery course and was working in the orthopedic department as a  Junior resident doctor. He was spotted unconscious in his car on the campus and was rushed to the medicine ICU by his colleagues. However, he could not be revived despite his efforts.
According to his father his son wanted to look after him and his mother and that is why he had brought them to Allahabad and rented a three-room flat on Minto Road. On Saturday Kartikey had gone to the railway station to see off his sister and brother-in-law in his car. After this he came home, had breakfast, and went off to the hospital, He went to Operation Theatre One and talked to the doctors after this he put on the uniform. He has no idea what happened after this. In the night he received a call that his son was no more.
