The incident took place Friday evening near Cariappa gate adjacent to the high court and close to the Lukerganj -Khuldabad flyover.
The victim Anuj Kumar Pal works at a Nursing home. Friday evening he was heading to the central bank in Katra to deposit cash kept in a bag from the nursing home situated in Transport Nagar.
The miscreants stopped him bear the Cariappa gate and took out his bikes ignition keys.
They whipped out a pistol when Anuj tried to resist them. One of them snatched the bag abd the duo ride away pointing the pistol at Anuj who was left terrified and shaken by the quick succession of happenings.
The Cant SHO and ACP Civil Lines Swetab Pandey reached the place on getting the news and made inquiries.
A case of loot has been lodged and police were trying to trace the miscreants.
