In the death of a doctor at Medical College and Hospital Allahabad, a case of murder has been lodged against an Associate Professor and two other doctors.
Dr Kartikey Srivastava second year MS Orthopedic student and Junior Resident was found dead in his car in the parking lot of the Medical College on Saturday.
The doctor’s. father had alleged foul play as he was not ready to take the suicide theory floated on the campus.
The case of murder has been lodged by the family members of the deceased doctor based on suspicion. The suspects include a lady eye doctor a close friend of the deceased and two junior doctors.
It has been alleged that all these doctors had been torturing and harassing Dr Kartikey.
The report has been lodged by the deceased sister Dr Aditi Srivastava, a jail superintendent.
According the the complaint, Dr Kartikey was doing his MS second year. One Shivam Gupta had been harassing the deceased mentally and physically ever since he was Junior doctor 1.
The deceased had made a complaint to Dr Sachin Yadav who is the associate Professor but the latter had not taken any steps to stop the harassment.
The deceased had told the doctors that he was suffering from deep vein thrombosis despite this he was made to stand for 36 hours at a stretch.
According to the complaint, the lady doctor maintained a close friendship with the deceased for about a year but then she suddenly distanced herself from the former.
When the deceased questioned her sudden turn in their relationship, she said that now she was friendly with somebody else.
After this, her deceased brother never talked to her on his own but the lady doctor kept talking to him on the phone and often, alleged. the complainant,
The deceased sister suspects that her brother was murdered by Shivam Gupta, Sachin Yadav, the Associate Professor, and Anamika, the lady eye doctor. Police are delving deep into the complaint of the Jail Superintendent, sister of Dr Kartike Yadav
