At least ten RSS workers were attacked and injured in Jaipur at a religious programme at a temple after they were attacked with knives by two persons.

The incident took place on October 17 while Prasad was being distributed at a Jagran programme.

Six of the injured were admitted to Sawai Man Singh Hospital.

While Prasad was being distributed some persons objected to the event being held during the night.

An argument ensued and the neighbours attacked the RSS workers with knives.

A person identified as Naseeb Chaudhary and his son were arrested while police were looking for others.

Piqued over the incident some persons blocked the Delhi Ajmer highway for some time but later retreated.
