Actor Ameesha Patel, who was a part of the blockbuster film Gadar 2, has claimed that she and the film’s lead star, Sunny Deol, were “semi ghost directors” on the film. Gadar 2 was directed by Anil Sharma, whom she accused of having a ‘hidden agenda’. In a recent interview, Ameesha said, “A lot of corrections were made in Gadar 2 by Sunny Deol and me to make it what it was.” She also said that the two actors “did a lot of editing and reshooting,” and had a lot of “arguments with our director to make Gadar 2 the film that was ultimately seen on the big screen.”
In a chat with the media, Ameesha said, “There were a lot of corrections made in Gadar 2 by Sunny and me to make it what it was because it was being steered in a direction that we were unhappy with. We did a lot of reshoots for it and a lot of editing on our part.” She added that there was a lot of “creative discomfort that Sunny and I both had, and the journey was not an easy one. We both did a lot of editing, reshooting.”
