Prayagraj: Preparations in Prayagraj have intensified ahead of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s scheduled visit on Saturday.
The CM’s Special Protection Group has already arrived, and senior administrative officials have conducted a thorough inspection of all key locations.
According to the official programme, the Chief Minister will land at the Police Lines helipad at 10:00 AM.
From 10:05 to 10:20 AM, he will attend a ceremonial event at a hotel in Civil Lines.
At 10:25 AM, he will reach the residence of MLA Harsh Vardhan Bajpai in Rambagh to participate in the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of a Bajrang Bali statue.
At 10:50 AM, the CM will arrive at Sangam Nose for Ganga Puja and a detailed inspection of the Mela area.
He is scheduled to visit Bandhwa Hanuman Temple at 11:25 AM, where he will offer prayers.
From there, he will proceed to the Mela Authority Office at 11:45 AM, where he will review preparations for the upcoming Magh Mela till 12:15 PM.
By 12:20 PM, he will reach the Parade Ground helipad and depart for Bamrauli.
The Chief Minister is expected to fly out to Udaipur at 12:40 PM.
Ahead of the visit, Commissioner Saumya Agrawal, District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma, and senior police officials surveyed the entire Mela region on Thursday.
The team inspected the VIP Ghat, Sangam Nose — the site prepared for the CM’s Ganga Puja — and later reviewed arrangements at the Mela Authority Office.
Officials have been instructed to expedite cleaning work around the Sangam area.
A jetty has been constructed for the Chief Minister’s visit, with land levelling and structural preparations already underway.
The CM’s security team has also inspected the Hanuman Temple and Sangam zones.
District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma confirmed that the Chief Minister will remain in Prayagraj for approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes.
