Chiranjeevi and his son, Ram Charan, have announced a joint donation of Rs. 1 crore for the Wayanad flood victims. The two actors join the list of celebrities from the film industry, who have extended their support to the Kerala government in its relief efforts.
Chiranjeevi has always contributed generously to victims of such calamities. He had extended support to victims of the Kargil war, the Gujarat earthquake, the tsunami, the Uttarakhand floods, the Konasema floods, and the Vizag cyclone.
