Arjun Tendulkar’s Wedding Celebrations Begin in Jamnagar with Ambani-Hosted Ceremony
Pre-wedding celebrations for Arjun Tendulkar, son of cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar, have commenced in Jamnagar, Gujarat, as he prepares to tie the knot with his longtime partner, Saaniya Chandok.
The opening ritual featured an elaborate puja at the same grand venue where Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant celebrated their wedding two years ago.
The ceremony was graciously hosted by the Ambani family, with Mukesh Ambani, Nita Ambani, Akash Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Anant, and Radhika in attendance, extending their warm hospitality to the Tendulkar family.
A video from the event, now widely circulated online, captures Nita Ambani addressing the gathering, while Radhika performs the traditional tilak ritual for guests.
The footage also includes moments from Sachin Tendulkar’s remarks, in which he conveyed heartfelt appreciation to Nita and Mukesh Ambani for their generosity and warmth.
For the auspicious occasion, Nita Ambani chose an elegant purple sari adorned with intricate gold gota patti detailing, patchwork embroidery, delicate jaali patterns, and floral motifs—an ensemble that beautifully showcased India’s rich artisanal heritage.
She accessorised with exquisite polki diamond jewellery, including a statement necklace featuring floral-inspired cutwork, a bold ring, and coordinated bangles.
Her styling was equally refined: soft waves left cascading over her shoulders and subtle glamour makeup highlighted with kohl-lined eyes, glossy lips, and a gentle flush on the cheeks.
During her address, Nita Ambani reflected on the significance of the venue, saying, “We are gathered today at the very place where Anant and Radhika began their journey together.
Sachin and Anjali, you have always been like family to us, and it fills our hearts with joy to celebrate this special moment with you.”
She also shared affectionate words for the couple, adding, “Arjun, I have watched you grow from a young boy in our school to a man ready to embark on this beautiful new chapter.
