Grand winners of T 20, team India’s home coming turned into a festival as they were given rousing reception after they touched down the Indian soil.

PM Narenda personally met each and every member of the Indian squad and interacted with them.
Modi praised players super performance that culminated in the historic victory at the T20 world cup in USA.
Selfies were taken and the team had a group photograph with the Prime Minister who thanked the Indian team led by Rohit Sharma on their outstanding performance.

After meeting PM Narendra Modi the team left for Mumbai where another big celebration awaited their arrival.
In Mumbai, the Indian team travelled in an open bus from Marine Drive to Wankhade Stadium. The parade was an affair to remember and marvel at, as thousands of fans gathered at Marine Drive and surrounded the bus before it could even get Indian players on it.

The Wankhede Stadium was a cauldron of noise and excitement as cricket fans gathered to celebrate Team India’s historic title triumph in the T20 World Cup 2024. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) presented the Indian team with a prize of Rs 125 crore at the Wankhede Stadium, as previously announced following their triumph. The event saw prominent players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rahul Dravid, and Jasprit Bumrah taking the podium to share their emotions with an enthusiastic crowd.

Team India danced with the enthusiastic crowd and sang Vande Mataram as they went round the stadium.
