The stupendous victory has made Board of Cricket Control in India so happy, it has decided to open its coffers to the cricket team members.
Announcing this grand amount of cash prize the BCCI secretary Jai Shah says, the entire team exhibited superb performance during the T20 series, determination and commitment.
The team under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma has created history.
Besides, the above amount the team will get 20.42 crore as tournament prize.
Meanwhile,PM Narendra Modi has congratulated the Indian cricket team following its victory at the T20 world cup. Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados was the host to this exciting tournament.
