Charwa, Kaushambi, police accused of false encounter, CJM orders registration of FIR

The  CJM Allahabad has ordered registration of FIR against SOG incharge and his twelve member team for staging a false encounter in which one Vijay Kumar Soni who was shot at and injured in an alleged encounter later died at the SRN hospital.

Vijay’s mother Anju Devi hailing from Hanumanganj Paitiha village in Koraon area of Allahabad district had alleged that on Sept 10, 2023 that the SOG team from Charwa in neighbouring  Kaushambi district barged into her house along with about a dozen policemen, caught hold of her son and assaulted his son while hurling abusive language.
The team of policenen allegedly kidnapped her son with the intention of killing him.
Accusing Vijay of being accomplice in a case of loot in Charwa on Sept 8 policemen staged a false encounter and shot at his son.
Police got Vijay admitted to SRN hospital in a serious condition where he died on Sept 21, 2023 during treatment.
Anju Devi handed over an application to police commissioner, Allahabad for lodging a case against police personnel involved in the killing of her son but her plea was rejected.
Failing to get justice, Anju Devi approached the CJM  court which ordered registration of FIR after listening to facts narrated by the parties.
Now, a case will be lodged following investigations.
Case will be lodged against incharge Charwa police station Vinod Kumar Singh, SOG incharge Kaushambi Siddharth Singh, Sunil Kumar Yadav sub inspector and others.
