Officials of Hon’ble Supreme Court Of India organized a celebration to mark the 75th year of the establishment of the Supreme Court of India.
On the special occasion,
Kiran Rao’s directorial Laapataa Ladies was screened today in Delhi for the judges and the members of the Registry.
Director of the film, Kiran Rao, and Producer Aamir Khan were present during the screening. There was an introductory meeting of the Chief Justice of India and the other court judges and their family members, with Superstar- Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao.
Laapataa Ladies was selected for the screening for it’s theme of gender equality.
The screening was followed by dinner.
Laapataa Ladies tells the story of two young newly-wed brides who get exchanged during a train ride to their husband’s homes.
