In a strong and heartfelt message underscoring the commitment of both the state and central governments toward inclusive and accessible education, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday asserted that no student in India should be forced to discontinue their education due to a lack of financial resources.

His remarks came while addressing the heads of institutions affiliated with the Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad (MPSP) during a significant meeting held in Gorakhpur.

Adityanath emphasized that ensuring equal educational opportunities for every child, irrespective of their socio-economic background, is not just a responsibility but a moral imperative for educational institutions.

“Every institution must make sure that financial constraints do not become a reason for any child to drop out. Education is the foundation of a strong nation, and every child deserves access to it,” he said.

Highlighting the shared vision of both the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the state government of Uttar Pradesh, Adityanath noted that student welfare and educational upliftment are among the top priorities of today’s leadership.

“The present leadership, both at the Centre and in the state, is deeply committed to nurturing talent and building a generation that is confident, skilled, and self-reliant. No student’s dream should be sacrificed at the altar of poverty,” he said.

Urging institutions to look beyond routine academic responsibilities, the Chief Minister stressed the importance of a mission-driven approach. “Just as individuals must live with purpose, so must institutions. They cannot afford to function in a mechanical or perfunctory manner.

Every school and college must work with a clear mission — to educate, empower, and uplift society,” he stated.

He described the Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad as far more than just a network of schools or colleges. “MPSP is a living example of how education, healthcare, and service can be harmonized to bring about holistic social development.

It is a movement, not merely an institution,” Adityanath remarked.

Looking ahead to the centenary celebrations of the MPSP in 2032, the Chief Minister called upon institutional heads to begin comprehensive preparations for what he envisioned as a grand national milestone.

“The Parishad, founded in 1932 with the noble aim of reviving education and national values in eastern Uttar Pradesh, carries the visionary legacy of Mahant Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj and Mahant Avedyanath Ji Maharaj. By 2032, we must ensure that MPSP stands out as a national model of excellence in education and service.”

He further encouraged the adoption of modern technologies and digital tools to enhance the learning experience and institutional functioning.

“It is essential that we keep pace with changing times. Embrace innovation, embrace technology. These are not just tools for convenience but vital instruments for ensuring quality education that meets global standards,” he told educators.

The Chief Minister’s address served as a reminder of the larger vision driving the educational reforms in the country — a vision in which no child is left behind, and every student is empowered to dream, learn, and achieve, regardless of their background.

His words reinforced the idea that education is not a privilege for a few but a fundamental right for all, and that government and institutions must walk hand-in-hand to make that right a reality.
