Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has come down strongly on the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party while squarely blaming it for the continued loss of lives of Indian soldiers in terror attacks.
The Congress leader’s verbal attack comes in the wake of the latest terror attack in which four army personnel including a major rank officer lost their lives, late Monday night.

Leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha on his social handle X condemned the BJP for its wrong policies that were responsible for the continuous loss of lives in the trouble-torn region of Jammu and Kashmir.
While describing the incidents as “sad and worrying”, Rahul emphasized the need for accountability.
Every patriotic Indian demands that the government should take full responsibility for the repeated security lapses and take strict action against the culprits who harm the country and the soldiers, Gandhi wrote on his X handle.
“These repeated terrorist attacks are revealing the poor condition of Jammu and Kashmir. Our soldiers and their families are bearing the brunt of BJP’s wrong policies” added the congress leader.
It may be mentioned that the terror attack in Doda in which four lives haveen lost comes close on the heels of earlier attacks in Machedi and Kathua. Five Indian soldiers were martyred.
The Indian security forces have been engaged in search, flush out operation with renewed commitment after the recent attacks in the Jammu region.
The army and other security personnel have been scanning villages and even agricultural fields to find the militants who make a sudden attack from their hideouts. It is anybody’s guess that militants are no match to the security forces yet they manage to inflict casualties on this side despite being killed in several; cases.
Several factors were responsible for this situation and care is being taken to plug loopholes. Borders are fenced and fencing is still on in patches that were left earlier because of certain difficulties including the presence of marshy tract of land.
