Court issues arrest warrant against Sonu Sood after actor skipped testimony in alleged fraud case

A court in Ludhiana, Punjab, has issued an arrest warrant against Bollywood actor and social activist Sonu Sood in connection with an alleged fraud case. The warrant was issued by judicial magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur after the actor failed to appear in court in response to earlier summons related to the case.
The complaint was filed by Rajesh Khanna, a lawyer based in Ludhiana, who alleged that he was duped of ₹10 lakh in a fraudulent scheme. According to Khanna, the fraud was linked to Mohit Shukla, the primary accused in the case, who allegedly convinced him to invest in a fake cryptocurrency project called Rijika Coin.
As part of the legal proceedings, the court summoned Sonu Sood to testify in the case, presumably to provide clarity regarding his involvement or association with the alleged fraudulent scheme.
