“Stree 2 is a blend of horror and comedy and this genre is quite risky from Censor certification point of view, what was your experience?” we asked.

“Members that we met this time were intelligent and sensible.” said Amar Kaushik He further said, “They heard our point of view. We could have got many cuts. They told us, ‘Yes, yeh dialogue mein problem hai but if we cut it, it’ll affect the narrative and we know you added it for so-and-so reason. Hence, we won’t censor it’. I was surprised.” Amar Kaushik continued, “We were prepared that a lot of dialogues will get cut. But see we were told for minimum cuts.”

Amar Kaushik directorial Stree 2 has emerged as a blockbuster and has been loved for its humourous as well as scary scenes. A lot of references of Bollywood actors have been made in the film which added to the fun.
