Film Director Sanoj Misra who recently shot into fame during the Maha Kumbh for offering a film to viral girl Monalisa has been arrested by the Delhi police on charges of rape on the complaint of a 28-year-old woman.

Mishra had made all efforts to find Monalisa and went to her house and convinced her parents that their daughter was fit for the movie that he had planned.

According to the police, the complainant had registered (FIR against Sanoj Misra.

The complaint was lodged at Nabi Karim police station in Delhi under sections of rape, assault, causing miscarriage, and threatening on March 6

According to the complaint, the accused was in a live-in relationship with the complainant in Mumbai for the past four years. She alleged that she was forced to undergo abortion thrice during these years.

She has alleged in the FIR that on February 18, the accused brought her to a hotel in Nabi Karim and made physical relations with her.

“He later backed out on his promise to marry her. As a result, she was compelled to file the complaint,

The police have collected all medical papers connected to the abortion.

As per sources, Misra’s bail application has been rejected by the Delhi High Court.

According to police, the accused was arrested on Sunday after police tracked him through surveillance.

According to sources, the accused is married and lives with his family in Mumbai.
